Born 1971, Lichtenvoorde, the Netherlands - lives and works in Nijmegen, the Netherlands
Daniëlle Papenborg is a visual artist and researcher who studied at AKI/ArtEZ (BFA Mixed Media, 1999), with an additional residency at Villa Arson in Nice. Her practice includes drawing, printmaking, spatial installations, video, and sound; since 2023, she has been working with a renewed focus on autonomous art and artistic research.
“My practice moves between drawing, printmaking, spatial work, and research. I explore what a drawing can be and use drawing as a way of looking, touching, and responding to materials, spaces, and situations.”
